About
The Department of Public Safety is looking for Boise State staff members to serve as Safety Ambassadors to our new and returning students.
In an effort to prevent outbreaks, support the campus community, and ensure facial covering and physical distancing compliance, we will station Safety Ambassadors at key entrances to our classroom and student-centered buildings. They will greet students and provide reminders of our COVID regulations as well as general assistance. This role is separate from general volunteers sought to help with Bronco Welcome as Ambassadors will be focused more on safety in campus buildings and classrooms.
Ideal candidates will have good communication skills, enjoy working with people (especially students), and solving problems. A brief training will be provided along with masks and other items to hand out to those in need.
